Answered Prayers: The Bully

Sebastian Caine, a prominent TV pundit, is living a double life. By day, he preaches anti-gay conservative rhetoric, but by night, he indulges in reckless behavior, including drug use and sexual encounters with his personal masseur. In one word, Caine can be described as a “hypocrite.”

However, unbeknownst to him, Sebastian Caine is about to become a pawn in an epic rivalry between two mysterious demigods, Jinks and Moloch. Caine’s inflammatory remarks on a news broadcast only fuel the fear that gives Moloch his power, while Jinks, who desires hope and possibility for humanity, grows weaker.

In a desperate attempt to fight this battle, Jinks summons his three sons, the Sons of Chaos – Puck, Luck, and Abel. These brothers are eccentric and mischievous, embodying a playful spirit and a wild nature. While they may lack discipline at times, their power is undeniable when they focus.

Now, Sebastian Caine’s double life, hypocrisy, and manipulation have led him into the realm of the Sons of Chaos. They tap into his sexual desires, exploring kinks like rope, tape, and even saran wrap, all for a greater purpose. Through this, they expose him as a master of lies. But whether Caine will continue to live a lie is a decision only he can make after enduring the Sons of Chaos’ intervention.

The Bully, the third part of Jake Jaxson’s six-part miniseries Answered Prayers, is beautifully shot and edited. It serves as a 21st-century morality play, delving into the inner workings of everyday human archetypes and the fears that haunt them. This installment, like the entire series, raises questions about the nature of hypocrisy, the pursuit of truth, and the capacity for personal growth.

The Bully, with its tantalizing storyline and stunning visuals, invites viewers to contemplate the complex duality within themselves. Ultimately, it reminds us to look, see, and be.
